Advance Adapter

The GM 700R4 4 speed automatic transmission adapter to the Toyota Truck gear driven transfer case is 3.50”. The adapter material is 356 T-6 heat treated aluminum alloy. Our adapter kit will include a adapter housing, new 700R4 output shaft, 27×23 coupler, nylon bushing, cover plate, gaskets o-ring, seal, fastening hardware and adapter instructions.

Transfer Case

The adapter assembly fits the Toyota Truck 23 spline gear driven transfer cases. This transfer case has a male 23 spline input shaft and can also be identified by 7 bolts attaching the tailhousing to the transfer case.

Transmission

This kit is designed for use with the 2wd or 4wd 700R-4 / 4L60 / 4L60E manufactured thru 1996. The overall case length of the transmission is 23.375”, has a non-removable bell housing, and a 4 bolt square rear case. Late model 4L60E automatics will have a removable bell housing and a 6 bolt hex pattern rear case. The late model automatic will require an additional Advance Adapter to work with this kit or you can order PN50-5761.

The one piece GM 700R4 output shaft used in this kit is made out of 4340 alloy steel. This output shaft is manufactured with the highest quality materials and standards as the OEM output shaft.

This main shaft kit can also be used with the 4L60 and 4L60E overdrive automatic transmissions.
