STEERING SHAFT-36 COLLAPSIBLE W/1DD X 3/4-36 U-JOINT

Advance Adapters offers Saginaw steering conversions for both pre 1971 CJ Jeeps and FJ40 Land Cruisers. A key component of these kits is a Borgeson 36″ telescoping shaft sold separately under AA part #716862. Besides use in our kits, these shafts can be used in a variety of applications and make installation and removal of steering system components simple and easy. The telescopic action also acts as a collapsible shaft offering an added measure of safety. One end of the assembly is a 3/4″ DD shaft and the other end is a 1″ DD tube. The assembly can be trimmed to fit shorter applications. Telescoping shafts are available in steel only. The #716862 also includes one 1″ DD x ¾” 36 spline u-joint for use with our steering box spud shafts.
