AOD TO AODE SHAFT KIT

The 4R70W transmission is similar to the AODE transmission and was used in rear wheel drive vehicles starting in 1991. The adapter housing for the AOD transmission will fit the AODE / 4R70W; however, the output shaft of the 4R70W is different with reference to the oiling holes. Since the 4R70W does not have a governor, the oil supply line must be plugged. Our kits for the AODE can be used on the 4R70W transmission, provided that you obtain this shaft kit.
