POWERGLIDE ADAPTER – DANA 300

Advance Adapter

The Powerglide to Jeep Dana 300 transfer case adapter is 3.125” in length. The adapter material is 356 T6 heat treated aluminum alloy. The adapter kit includes an adapter housing, new Dana 300 input shaft, crossmember mount kit, fastening hardware, and adapter instructions.

Note: This adapter is designed for exclusive use with a “short” built Powerglide.

Transfer case

The adapter assembly will fit the Jeep Dana 300. This transfer case was used in the 1980-’86 CJ-7 series.

Transmission

The Powerglide is a two speed automatic transmission designed by General Motors. It was available primarily on Chevrolet automobiles from 1950 through the early 1970s.

Although it is a very old design Powerglide still has a strong following in drag racing due to its strength and simplicity. Powerglides are also popular in mud racing and rock crawling.
